Dr. George Tann was an Herbalist for the Osage Native Americans in Kansas.

William Gilbert Tann
William Gilbert Tann, born 1859 in, Pennsylvania, son of George and Catherine (Thompson) Tann. He married Mary A. Long, daughter of John Long on October 23, 1890, in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
On March 18, 1918, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, William Tann married Martha Charlotte Briscoe, daughter of John and Marie (Bowie) Briscoe. William was a widower when he married Martha (Mattie).
Martha Briscoe was married to William H. Bond and they had one child, Henry Clay Bond. In 1919, Henry married Cleone Vanetta Skeaton, of Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of Van Skeaton and Armelia Johnson. Then, on November 9, 1920, Henry C. Bond married Fannie M. Carter in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. His third marriage to Cora Harvey Walker, in Dauphin County, Pennslyvania.
William Gilbert Tann died in 1924. He is buried at Lincon Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
